يشتمل هذا الكتاب على مجموعة قصص قصيرة تضيف للإنسان المصرى جراحا وأحزان عميقة، حيث إنها أحداث جديدة على مجتمعنا ، فهى قصص عن أحداث وحوادث الاغتصاب حيث يتحول الشارع المصرى فى هذه الأحوال إلى غابة فلا أحد يتوقع من أين يأتيه الحظر بعد أن اختفى عسكرى الدورية الذى كان كان يجوب الشارع ليل نهار. ففى هذه القصص نجد ونناقش بعض المسببات لانتشار تلك المصائب ، منها عدم الالتزام بتعاليم الدين وتقاليد المجتمع فى سلوك كل من الفتاة والشاب، ومنها ضياع الحزم إلى حد كبير من البيت المصرى، والبطالة والمخدرات. والكثير من المسببات التى تتعرض لها القصص لعلها تكون بمثابة الإنذار والمرشد للبعد عن الخطر.
