هذا العمل الجديد كنت قد اخترت له هذا العنوان (قبلة القمر على قدمها ) وقد اعلنت عنه تحت الطبع فى كتابى (رحلتى مع الرواية ) الذى صدر فى أول يناير من هذا العام 1980 ولكنى عندما اعدت قراءة ماكتبت قراءة أخيرة قبل ارساله الى المطبعة أحسست ان اجمل مايمكن ان اضعه عنوانا له عبارة اطلقتها مديحة بطلة هذه الاحداث المثيرة المفعمة بكل مايمكن ان يتعرض له الانسان من حلو الحياة ومرها . والعبارة كانت (( الشمس تشرق غربا )) مديحة اطلقت هذه العبارة التى ترتفع بالنفس البشرية الى ذرى الامل والايمان بالله اطلقتها وهى تجتاز اتعس لحظات حياتها لحظات بلغ بها اليأس خلالها منطقة الاظلام الشامل التام الذى لا يمكن لعين او لقلب او لنفس او لروح ان ترى بصيصا رفيعا ناحلا شاحبا من الضوء ولكنها برغم ذلك قالتها (( الشمس تشرق غربا )) ةكانت بالقياس الى محنتها المريرة الضاربة التى تجتاز ابلغ ماسمعت فى حياتى او هل يمكن للشمس ان تشرق غربا الا اذا كان هذا من علامات الساعة ؟ ومع ذلك وبعد اقل من اربع وعشرين ساعة وجدت نفسى اواجه اعتى ما مر بى من محن الزمن وتذكرت عبارة مديحة التى سمعتها منها منذ اقل من اربع وعشرين ساعة (( الشمس تشرق غربا )) وسمعت شفتى تهمسان بصوت سمعته وحدى مع الله هذا يوم مشهود أرى فيه ((الشمس تغررب شرقا )) ولم أشأ ان اجعل عبارتى عنوانا لهذا العمل الروائى ولكنى فضلت عبارة مديحة (( الشمس تشرق غربا )) فاخترتها عنوانا احللته محل العنوان الذى اعلنت عنه كما قدمت (قبلة القمر على قدمها ) وكلمة أخيرة خذوها منى بكل صفاء النفس ونقاء القلب الله كان لطيفا بكم رحيما بضعفكم بارا بانسانيتكم لانكم لم تروا مديحة ولم تعرفوها اما انا فقد عرفتها ... عرفتها ... عرفتها وليتنى ماعرفتها وليتنى ما احببتها كما لم احب فى حياتى بشرا
