اعتادت الجدة (ايونا) أن تروي حكاياتها الخيالية لحفيدتها الصغيرة (فيونا). ولكن (فيونا) اليوم لم تعد صغيرة بل شابة ذكية، وعالمة تبحث في علوم الذرة والجزيئات. ولم تكن الجدة لتعلم أن تلك الحفيدة أصبحت تمسك بخيوط سحرية يمكنها أن تنسج معها قصصاً تفوق خيال الجدة وما تعبئه في حكاياتها من سحر وأسرار. وفي الغرفة الكبيرة كانت تتلامع ظلال الأضواء وهي تشع بألوان قوس قزح، والنوافذ العلوية تبث أنواراً غريبة تلقي بها نحو الشارع. والجدة (ايونا) ما تزال حبيسة المختبر برفقة الجدة (أتوما) الذرة المعجزة، وحفيدتها (النانو) الذكية الخارقة التي ولدت في أوائل هذا القرن، وفجأة ينبض ضوء أحمر صغير كالقلب وسط جهاز حديث. ما هذه الألغاز.. وما هو سر هذا الضوء النابض؟.. لابد أنه خطير ولو أن نبضه سريع وقصير.
