يظلّ مفهوم (التشكيل) المشتغل في منطقة الأدب عموماً، وفي منطقة الشعر خصوصاً، مفهوماً عصياً على التحديد الإجرائي الدقيق، وصعباً على التقنين الاصطلاحي المجرّد، وذلك لأنه محوّل أولاً من منطقة الرسم الأدواتية الفنية والجمالية، وثانياً لأن حركته في ميدان اللغة واسعة وغامضة وعميقة ومتداخلة ومشتبكة لا يمكن أن تحدّها حدود واضحة، على النقيض من حركته الدينامية الرحبة في منطقة الرسم إذ تتجلّى هذه الحركة بكلّ قوّة ووضوح وتمظهر في المساحة والكتلة والخط واللون، داخل أبعاد مرئية في حدود اللوحة يمكن مباشرتها بصرياً والإحساس بها تخييلياً . يمكن مقاربة مفهوم التشكيل ابتداءً في تحليل العلاقة التي يشتغل عليها التشكيل بين الصنعة والرؤيا، إذ بلقاء الصنعة والرؤيا وتضافرهما وتداخلهما تتضح معالم مفهوم التشكيل وتبدأ أوّل خيوطه الفنية والجمالية بالبروز في حاضنة النص، إذ تتصل الصنعة بالمهارة والحذق وإتقان اللعبة الشعرية باستخدام أكبر طاقة ممكنة من التجربة والخبرة، والاستعانة بالثقافة والمعرفة والعلم والحساسية والحدس وكلّ ما هو ممكن ومتاح وضروري لخدمة العملية الإبداعية، فالصنعة الشعرية ضرورة فنية وإبداعية وجمالية يبقى النص ناقصاً من دون تفعيلها وتشغيلها في جميع مراحل التكوين النصّي، وإذا كانت الصنعة تمثّل الجناح الضروري الأوّل للعملية الإبداعية فإن الرؤيا تمثّل الجناح الضروري الثاني، إذ إنّ الصنعة وحدها لا يمكن أن تنتج نصاً شعرياً خلاّقاً من دون الاعتماد على طاقة الرؤيا في نقل فعاليات الصنعة إلى مقام فني وجمالي خصب وكثيف ومثمر، كما أنّ الرؤيا وحدها لن يكون بوسعها إنتاج نصّ شعري يضمن بقاءه طويلاً في منطقة التداول القرائي .
