يعد الخطاب الحجاجيَ، منذ القدم، أفضل وسائل التواصل السَلمية لحل الإختلافات. لكنَه، مع تنامي استعمالاته، وتنوَع ساقاتها، استحال من وسيلة تحلَ الإختلافات ابتداءً إلى موطن يكتنف الإختلافات انتهاءً. فاجتهد كثير من الباحثين قديماً وحديثاً في تحليله للوقوف على جوهر الإختلاف، فتجلَى لهم أنَه يتمحور حول منطق الخطاب الحجاجَي، وذلك عندما كان المنطق الصَوري (الأرسطي) هو المنوال الأصيل، الذي ينسج به الخطاب، فاجتهد أولئك لإصلاح المنطق، وذهبوا كلَ مذهب.
وكان ابن تيميَة من أبرز أولئك العلماء الذين أسهموا في ذلك، فلم تكن أفكاره المنطقية إلاَ توخياً لإصلاح منطق الخطاب الحجاجَي تحديداً، وما تميَوت به هذه الإسهامات هو أنَها قد تأسست على مقتضيات المقاربة التداولية (كما تجلت بأطروحاتها في الدراسات اللَسانية المعاصرة) وهو ما منحها واقعيَة لمناسبتها طبيعة الخطاب الحجاجيَ كما يجري في الواقع. وميَزها بالموثوقية فتبوأت مكانتها، لهذا حاولنا، في هذا العمل، استصفاء رؤيته التَداولية عن منطق الخطاب الحجاجَي، الذي ثبت بأنه لم يعد إلا المنطق التَداولي، ليغدو هو المنطق لنسج الخطاب الحجاجَي في ما يمكن أن نسمَيه المنوال البديل.
