"خزائن الليل" ديوان في الشعر العربي الحديث يضم ما يقارب المائة وخمسين قصيدة تراوحت بين الطول والقصر. للشاعر العراقي "حسين علي يونس". وفي هذا العمل يكتب الشاعر عن الوطن كانعكاس للذات، بلغة شاعرية قادرة على تطويع الكلام وصبه في قوالب فنية عمودية حيناً ونثرية حيناً آخر. مزجت الوجداني بالسياسي. يترجم من خلالها تراكمات تاريخية وسياسية، لعراق منهك يصبر حيزاً للمجاز الشعري، فلا يقتصر على المكان، ولا الزمان، فالغربة داخل الوطن هي أشد، لإنها غربة الروح لا الجغرافيا، يقول الشاعر: "على تخوم القرون أجلس/ حين يهز العالم ديله/ باتجاه/ الموت/ والزمن". "خزائن الليل" هو كتاب لا يشبه إلا نفسه من حيث رشاقة السرد، وشاعرية اللغة ومن حيث المتعة الممزوجة بالمرارة والتي يحصلها القارئ مع السطور، وفي ثنايا المعاني. في قصيدة بعنوان [يا بلادي] يقول: "قنديل سيخبرنا عن الدم الذي طرز صبحك،/ يا بلادي/ حين تلفح الشمس بشرتك،/ أية مواسم ستخط ما تكتبينه/ يا بلادي؟/ الأغنية التي تصطدم بوجهتنا المتعذر بلوغها/ تسفح مزمار غسقها، يا بلادي/ ربما رأيت النهايات مكسرة/ والحياة متصدعة،/ والقلوب وقد هجرتها/ خرائب أرواحنا، يا بلادي/ أبداً لم تكن الزهرة من سيأسرك، لأن الشعلة/ وحدها/ ستحضن جرحك، يا بلادي". من قصائد الكتاب نذكر: "جواد سليم"، "ليل يمر"، "القصيدة المستمرة"، "إلى رعد عبد القادر"، "إلى هاشم شفيق"، "يا أيها الزمن"... الخ.
