الهمزة. أتستحقّ الهمزة، أوّل حروف الأبجديّة العربيّة، المتربّعة على قمّة الألف، الحرف الهاوي الذي لا نطق له، كتاباً يعين الكتبة على أمزجتها وإملاءاتها؟ هذا الكتاب المكتوب والمفكّر مليًّا به - رشا الأمير، والمخطوط - علي عاصي، والمرسوم - دانيال قطّار، بشغف ودعابة، هو الدليل القاطع على أنّ الهمزة، هذا الحرف الطائر المشاكس، أهل لكلّ اهتمام ورعاية. كتاب الهمزة كتاب مفيد ولاه، أردناه عوناً قواعديًّا وإملائيًّا للكاتبين والكاتبات بلغة اقرأ، علّهم يكفّون عن سوء معاملتها. فلا حجّة، والكتاب في المتناول، من إلغائها أو إجلاسها حيث لا تريد لها اللغة. رشا الأمير. روائيّة وناشرة، تتلمذت للعلاّمة الشيخ عبدالله العلايلي والأستاذين لقمان سليم ومحمود عسّاف. اللغة واحد من مواضيعها الأثيرة، كما بدا جليًّا في روايتها يوم الدين الصادرة بطبعات عربيّة ستّ، وبترجمة فرنسية وأخرى إنكليزية. دانيال قطّار. رسّامة وأستاذة جامعيّة، تعاونت مع دار الجديد، ووقّعت -رسماً - كتاب البلد الصغير الصادر باللغة الفرنسية بطبعتين. لها مجموعة من الكتب المصوّرة. أنشأت صفحات كتاب الهمزة، وصارت ضليعة في أمزجتها وكتابتها. علي عاصي. خطّاط محترف، تدين له دار الجديد بخطوط أغلفة أغلب كتبها. يدرّس الخطّ في الجامعة الأمريكية اللبنانية، ويقيم محترفات يستفيد منها الواعون لأهميّة هذا الفنّ في حضارتنا. تواطأ مع الكاتبة والرسّامة فصارت ريشته لسان حال الهمزة، بطلة الكتاب.
