"سارة.. قصة الحب الخالدة" رواية انطباعية –فلسفية تتحدث عن عاطفة الحب وقدرتها على إحداث التغيير والتحول في مسار الحياة. وتتخذ من الشاب "وليد" المولود في مدينة القصيم، أنموذجاً لهذا التغيير. ما يميز الرواية أنها لا تتحدث عن حب بين رجل وامرأة فقط، بل الحب بمفهومه الشامل وتأثيره في كل شيء في الإنسان يقول الأب مخاطباً ابنه وليد "الحب هو الوفاء يا ولدي.."، "لقد علمني أبي، قبل كل الصراعات والمعارك التي حصلت في تاريخ البشرية أجمع، علمني الحب والوفاء، علمني أنه إذا وجد الحب والوفاء في مكان وزمان ما فإنه ستعم الخيرات والبركات (...) ألا فلتعلموا أطفالكم الحب والوفاء قبل كل شيء". أما "سارة" هي شيء يصعب تعريفه أو البحث عن وصف له! سارة هي نموذج متخيل لا وجود له على أرض الواقع "بل هي صورة ذهنية يزرعها الرجال في خيالهم الواسع لإكتمال أوصاف المرأة عندهم إلا أبداً لا، هي واقع، نراه، نسمعه،... يأكل، يشرب، يضحك، يبتسم، هي إنسان كتلة من كل شيء، لها روح وجسد وعقل، لها قلب كبير، هي أشياء في شيء، اسمه سارة! إذن هي إنسان مثلنا! ولكن عقلك وخيالك والأهم حبك زرع فيك أنها شيء آخر!...". ما يميز هذه الرواية أنها بقدر ما هي رومانسية، بقدر ما هي واقعية في طرحها يقول وليد: "عرفت أن هنالك حيايتين على ظهر هذه الأرض: حياة واقعية أساسها ومحركها وموجهها المادة، وحياة مثالية أساسها ومحركها وموجهها الكتب! كنت أعرف أن الحياة المثالية لن تحفظ لي سارة ولن تجعلها زوجة لي، وإنما حبيبة على الورق وفي القلب!...".
