ألف عديدا من الكتب كما ترجم عددا من كتابات المفكر الإيراني الدكتور عبد الكريم سروش.
درس في الحوزة الدينية في النجف منذ عام 1974 حيث درس الفقه والاصول على أساتذتها وغادر العراق عام 1979 في عهد صدام حسين إلى سوريا ولبنان واستقر في إيران حيث درس في قم، وتبلور فكره أثناء وجوده في إيران، وعاد عام 2008 إلى العراق.

النقد في دائرة العقيدة يعني تفكيك التراث الديني إلى عناصره الأولية ليتسنى لنا إعادة صياغته بما يضمن لنا مواجهة التحديات الفكرية الراهنة بأدوات فاعلة تحكي رصانة المنهج وحقانية المعتقد.
وقد يستغل عنصر النقد من لا حريجة له في الدين ويسعى في هدم عرى الإيمان والدين وفق إطار تغريبي مدروس من شأنه تقويض البنى الفكرية للذهنية المسلمة، ولكن هل يكون ذلك مسوغاً لنا انتجمد في إطار معتقدات السلف ونظل نمارس عملة تغطية ثقافية وتعتيم فكري على ترسبات عقائدية لتبقى متعالية عن النقد الموضوعي.
وفي هذا الكتاب قراءة نقدية للموروث الديني في دائرة حقيقة المعجزة القرآنية وتأصيل للإعجاز الوجداني.
