إلهام منصور، روائية وباحثة وأستاذة فلسفة في الجامعة اللبنانية، عرفت بتشجيعها للتحرر النسائي وقضاياه.
صدرت لها عدّة روايات ودراسات فلسفية.
حصلت على بكالوريوس وماجستير في الفلسفة من الجامعة اللبنانية حيث كانت أول من كتب رسالة عن تحرير المرأة عام 1972 كما نالت دكتوراه في الفلسفة من جامعة السوربون.
وهي من أوائل الذين تجرأوا على كسر المحرّمات وخاصة عند المرأة في العالم العربي.

"حين خلصت من ذكورتها المناضلة، ما كانت تذكر تماماً متى تلبست هذه الذكورة، لا تذكر إلا محاولتها المستمرة للهروب من ذاتها، محاولاتها الدائمة لخلع جلدها، كانت تشعر بالرد لكنها كانت تكابر. غريب كيف لا ترى الواقع الذي نعيش فيه، دائماً نراه حين نخرج منه، حين نبتعد عنه. هذا ما حدث لهبى حين استعادت ذاتها على حقيقتها، يعني حين عادت من جديد لتصبح أنسى، خطرت ببالها فكرة استوقفتها: "كم من السنين هدرت كي أصل بالفعل إلى ما وراء الخير والشر؟ كم أحسد "نيتشه" الذي وصل قبلي إلى تلك القمة حيث الهواء نقي لا تصل إليه أبخرة التلوث الصاعدة من حيث يعيش الناس الأخلاقيون المهذبون الذين ما زالوا يمارسون الخير ويبتعدون عن الشر... لا أذكر متى خرجت من أنسويتي، أنا متأكدة أنني ولدت أنسى، جسدي يقول ذلك، الأمر بديهي لا يحتاج إلى برهان أو استدلال حتى خرجت من جلدي؟ لا أذكر".
