إلهام منصور، روائية وباحثة وأستاذة فلسفة في الجامعة اللبنانية، عرفت بتشجيعها للتحرر النسائي وقضاياه.
صدرت لها عدّة روايات ودراسات فلسفية.
حصلت على بكالوريوس وماجستير في الفلسفة من الجامعة اللبنانية حيث كانت أول من كتب رسالة عن تحرير المرأة عام 1972 كما نالت دكتوراه في الفلسفة من جامعة السوربون.
وهي من أوائل الذين تجرأوا على كسر المحرّمات وخاصة عند المرأة في العالم العربي.

عندما تنتهي من قراءة قصة ذلك المكان ستتضم إليّ وتشاركني إستيائي، ورفضي، وأراك منذ الآن تبصق على أمرائه، ما فعلتُ أنا، حين خرجت منه.

وكان بشار ابن السيد وجيه الوحيد الذي كان يعاملها كإنسان لدرجة أنه انتشلها في عالم الضياع والقهر والفوضى؟ ولكنها هل ستتمتع بهذه الحياة القصيرة التي تظن أنها ليست جديدة بها بعد الحادثة التي أودت بحياة بشار، وتركت ابنهم فادي جثة هامدة يعيش من خلال مصل مغروزة في زنده!..
