سنعالج في هذا المؤلف عددا من جرائم الاعتداء علي الأشخاص والأموال في التشريع العقابي المصري من بين الجرائم العديدة التي أوردها في قسمه الخاص وهذا القسم ينتظم دراسة الجرائم المختلفة وعقوباتها في سلسلة منها متتابعة الحلقات ولكن في غير تلازم بين الواحدة والأخري ولا ترابط حتمي إلا بقدر ما تبرزه بعض الجرائم من صلة خاصة ببعضها الأخر فهو يحدد عناصر كل جريمة علي حدة أي أركانها التي تستمد منها وجودها القانوني كفعل معاقب عليه والتي حددها القانون والفقه تحديدا جليا بحيث أن ما يصح علي احداها قد لا يصح علي الأخري ولكن يربط بين هذه العناصر في النهاية أنها لا تخرج في الغالب منها عن كونها تطبيقات معينة لمباديء النظرية العامة في التجريم كما يوضح أحكامها القسم العام من هذا التشريع .
وقد أخترنا للبحث من جرائم الاعتداء علي الاشخاص طائفتين : أولاهما طائفة الجرائم الماسة بسلامة جسم المجني عليه أو صحته . وثانيتهما تشمل جرائم متنوعة لها اعتبارها الخاص في الحياة العملية.
