تهتم هذه الدراسة بنسج الخيوط الرئيسية لإحدى المدارس النقدية المعاصرة في الغرب والتي يمثلها خير تمثيل الناقد الفرنسي المعروف "جان بيير ريشار" وتعتمد هذه الدراسة في الدرجة الأولى إلى إضاءة الوعي النقدي الذي يسعى بدوره إلى إضاءة الوعي الشعري، فباشرت الدراسة في الفصل الأول بدراسة النقد الريشاري لا من خلال توزيع الدراسة إلى فصول، وإنما من خلال توزيعها إلى مفاهيم، فحددت في البداية مفهوم "الموضوع" باعتباره المفهم المركزي عند "ريشار" ثم تم دراسة مفاهيم المعنى والحسية والخيال والعلاقة والتجانس والدال والمدلول وشكل المضمون والبنية والعمق والمشروع والقصدية والوعي والمحالة. وقدم الفصل الثاني ترجمة للدراسة النقدية التي كتبها "ريشار" عن الشاعر الفرنسي "بول إلوار"، أما الفصل الثالث من الدراسة فجاء بعنوان "نقد المنهج الموضوعي"، وقسم هذا الفصل إلى ثلاث فقرات في الأول تم تحديد العلاقة بين الموضوعية والتحليل النفسي، وفي الثانية تم تحديد العلاقة بين المنهج الموضوعي والموضوعية البنيوية، ورسم المناطق التي تتداخل فيها جغرافية المنهجين، أما الفقرة الثالثة فجددت العلاقة بين "المنهج الموضوعي والمنهج البنيوي".
