تحكي هذه الرواية قصة من أسرة فلسطينية عاشت وعاش معها البطل أحداث الانتفاضة، وشارك فيها، كان البطل محباً لوطنه وأهله، وكان ذا مزاج خاص، فهو شديد التفكير في عواقب الأمور، يتساءل باستمرار عن جدوى رمي اليهود بالحجارة بينما اليهود يقتلون الأطفال واحداً تلو الآخر...
غادر وائل وطنه إلى أمريكا... لكن عاطفة حب الوطن والإخلاص له كانت هي الأقوى حيث هرب من المستشفى إلى المطار، وبينما هو هناك وفي يده تذكرته محاولاً تسليمها إلى الموظف المختص عصفت به نوبة قلبية حادة...
أحداث كثيرة تشدك لقراءة هذه الرواية دون توقف..
