ميشيل زيفاكو: كاتب ولد في جزيرة كورسيكا الفرنسية. التحق في البداية بمدرسة داخلية، ثم أكمل تعليمه الجامعي فحصل على البكالوريوس عام ١٨٧٨م. أسس مجلة «جيوكس» الأسبوعية، وكان يحمل ميولًا ثورية راديكالية، فكان يكتب في الصحف الثورية المختلفة، ليدعو إلى الثورة ضد الدين في نهاية القرن التاسع عشر، الأمر الذي أدى لسجنه. وبعد خروجه من السجن، اعتزل السياسة وتفرغ للأدب، فأخرج العديد من الروايات. وتوفي بسبب السرطان عام ١٩١٨م مخلفًا وراءه تراثًا أدبيًّا فريدًا من نوعه.
Book Description
تبدأ أحداث الرواية عندما يقرر حاكم باريس أن يهاجم مملكة الآرغو. وتختفي وراء هذه الأحداث خديعة حيث كان المتشردون في دار العجائب على علم بالجملة - العبارة - التي "دبّرها مونكلار ضدهم بإيعاز من إينياس دي لويولا. وإنما كانوا يجهلون موعد ذلك الهدوم". وهنا يقول تريكو ملك الآرغو المتخفي في لباس شحاذ وهو بينهم: "أنا أقترح رفع الحواجز لأنها بمثابة إهانة موجهة إلى حاكم باريس من غير نفع ولا فائدة، فلتهدم حالاً وليلق كل منكم سلاحه ويلزم فراشه مستريحاً مطمئن القلب والسلام". فهل ينجح تريكو في مهمته ويستطيع خداع الناس؟ سوف نشهد عالماً مليء بالأسرار والمفارقات والتناقضات تحمله تفاصيل هذه الرواية الشيقة المحبكة في إطار إنساني - درامي لذلك العالم الفريد بقوانينه وأسسه وخصائصه ونموذجه المعرفي الذي كان يحكم عقول الناس قادة وشعوباً. وهنا يتساءل المرء هل هي صورة لزمان ولّى، أم أنه الحاضر العصي على العيان، نعتقد أنه تغيرت الأدوات والأشخاص فقط، أما فكرة السيطرة والحروب والهيمنة ما زالت تحكم البنى الذهنية لكثير من المجتمعات والدول منذ أقدم البشرية إلى وقتنا الحالي.
