كانت ستائر العتمة تطرق بوابة الوعي لهذه التجربة الحساسة في الحياة الفلسطينية أما الجزء الثاني فجاء ليطرق بوابة الروح والإرادة اقتباس "هو راحل الآن تحت أنغام المطر الصفيح من زنزانة إلى زنازين ,ولكنها رحلة التحرر من كل أشكال الزنازين " و"إن حياتي قبل الزنازين كانت عملية جري خلف متطلبات الجسد ,تحيط الروح بآصارها وأغلالها ,وتحيطها بزنزانة أقسى وأمر من هذه .فعلا إن حياتي ما بعد هذه التجربة ستختلف عما قبلها.ساعيد التوازن بين حاجات الروح وحاجات الجسد ,وسأحافظ على حالة التحرر والانعتاق في فضاء ذكر الله ,ولن أعيدها إلى زنزانة الأنا الضيقة " هي رواية من نوع آخر جاءت بعد الجزء الأول الذي كلل بأساليب التعذيب النفسي وكل وسائل العصافير في سجون الاحتلال بطريقة سردية دقيقة حتى للنفسيات ودواخلها .جاءت هذه الرواية لنقلنا إلى حالة عملاقة تسمو بها الروح هي حتما مرحلة التحرر من كل الزنازين ..واتخاذ أسالب العدو القهرية ضد المساجين أداة لمواجهتهم بها.
