يواجه المتعلم في مراحل تعلمه المختلفة مشكلات متعددة قد تكون نفسية ، أو سلوكية، أو تعليمية، أو صفية، أو صحية وهذه كلها تأثر على المتعلم تأثيرا مباشرا وقد عني هذا الكتاب بطرح أبرزها بصورة موجزة ومركزا في أن معا ، كما عرض لطرق حل تلك المشكلات وعلاجها بما يتناسب مع طبيعة كل مادة على حدا، إذ بدأ الحديث مركزا على مفهوم المشكلة، ثم ماهية المشكلة ؟ كما أوجد حلا لها ، ثم ذكر أنواع المشكلات وال متمثلا بالمشكلات السلوكية المدرسية ومظاهرها عند الطالب والتي تظهر في المحيط المدرسي حيث يبين أعراض تلك المشكلات عند الطفل، ومن أبرزها سوء التكيف أو التوافق المدرسين فيبحث في أسباب تلك المشكلة وكيف يتم علاجها وهناك مشكلات أخرى يعرضها كمشكلة اضطرابات الذاكرة واللغة كذلك الكتابة باليد اليسرى، كما ناقشة المشكلات الصفية السلوكية كمشكلة التسرب من المدرسة، والغياب المتكرر، كما تناول مشكلة التأخر الصباحي عن المدرسة، وكذلك الغش في الامتحانات وأداء الواجبات كما انه تعرض لذكر المشكلات الصحية التعليمية فسلطة الضوء فيها على عدة مشكلات ، أهمها: ضعف الدافعة، والعادات الدراسية الخاطئة وعدم المشاركة الصفية، أيضا من المشكلات التي عالجها المشكلات الصفية الأكاديمية حيث سلط الضوء تحتها على عدد من المشكلات التي تندرج تحتها كضعف التحصيل واختلاف الأسلوب الإدراك إضافة لذلك عرض المشكلات النفسية التي تواجه التعلم كضعف الانتباه أو التشتت والاعتمادية الزائدة كما أنه بين مشكلات العملية التعليمية كمشكلة الدروس الخصوصية والوسائل التعليمية أيضا من المشكلات التي كانت قيد البحث والتي شملتها الدراسة المشكلات الصحية للتلاميذ ومشكلات الإدارة المدرسية.
