في توليفة بين السرد والنثر، تقدم "سلوى النعيمي" عملها الجديد "شبه الجزيرة العربية" تسجل فيه مشاهد من حياتها في الوطن وفي الغربة، عبر تقنية (الفلاش باك) المتداخل مع حبكة روائية مشوقة. نتابع من خلالها أحداث مرت بها وأناس عبروا حياتها، تتناولهم الكاتبة بالسرد الذي يصور الواقع الحقيقي. وبحس نقدي، يبقى الذكريات التي انطبعت في ذاكرتها، حية ومتحفزة حتى آخر رمق في الرواية.
تقول الكاتبة: "أنا بنت الحكاية. بنت كان يا ما كان. ولدت من الحكاية؟ لا. ولدت من حكايتين. ولدت على خط التماس بين حكايتين. ولدت من حكايتين. ولدت من روايتين مختلفتين للتاريخ صغيراً وكبيراً، وعرفت منذ البداية أن الحكاية هي وجهة نظر. عرفت منذ البداية أن ما نروي يعتمد على النقطة التي ننظر منها وكان هذا كافياً لإفساد كل شيء.."
وهكذا استطاعت سلوى النعيمي أن تصنع من ركام أحداث حقيقية. ومتخيلة في بعض الأحيان، خطاب روائي جديد، تتجاوز من خلاله حدود الذات والوطن؛ قضايا أعمل وأشمل تفضح تناقضات وإشكالات لا حصر لها، مثل مفهوم (الحرية – الوطن – الحزب ...) باختصار هذا العمل قراءة تحتاج إلى قرارات متعددة ...
