يقول الناشر عن هذا الكتاب: هي هزلية فلسفية أكثر منها رواية، أو هي هزلية اختار لها الكاتب قالباً روائياً، ربما لأنه يفتح أمام الكاتب أفقاً أوسع للتفكير أو بالأحرى للتجربة. شخصيات مفهومية، لا ريب، تلك التي نلتقيها هنا، وفي الآن نفسه، شخصيات من لحم ودم، هاجرت أو دُفعت للهجرة، لأنه لا وطن لها ولا حق لها في انتماء. هاجرت، محملة بأوهام كثيرة، وما هذا النص سوى محاولة لاستعادة تلك الأوهام التي نفقدها الواحد تلو الآخر، في طريقنا إلى الوهم. تدور أحداث هذه الهزلية في مدينة فرانكفورت الألمانية، وتقوم كلها على حوارات متعددة ومتداخلة، هناك دائماً نص أو نصوص مرئية وأخرى مضمرة، بطلها الوحيد هو البرد، البرد القارص، المنفلت من عقاله، الذي يلقي بظلاله على الشخصيات المختلفة، ويعبر عن نفسه في لغة مقتضبة، شذرية، وفي الآن نفسه، مغرقة في الواقعية. برد يشتعل في الأعماق.. برد هو نقيض الوهم. من الرواية: “لقد سرقوا وجهي في غفلة مني. كنتُ مستغرقاً في النوم، لمّا دلف أحدهم على أطراف قدميه إلى غرفة نومي، وسرق وجهي دون أن يثير أدنى جلبة. وهكذا حين استيقظتُ في الصباح، لم أجد وجهي. أخبرتُ الشرطة الديمقراطية، لكنهم سخروا مني جميعهم. قال أحدهم، إنني لا أحتاج إلى وجه، وضحك الآخرون”. --------- رشيد بوطيب: كاتب ومترجم مغربي، درس الأدب والفلسفة والعلوم الانسانية. صدرت له كتب بالألمانية والعربية. يقيم في ألمانيا.
