نهج البلاغة هو مجموعة ثمينة اختارها وانتقاها الشَريف الرَضي الموسوي من كلام الإمام أمير المؤمنين علي بن أبي طالب عليه السلام... منذ أن وضع الشريف الرضي، المجموعة نهج البلاغة – استقبلها الناس بشوق ورغبة، وأقبلوا عليها تناولاً وحفظاً، وأخذوا في دراستها وشرحها حتى أكبَ عليها طلابَ الفصاحة والبلاغة يأخذون منها ما يؤهَلهم لخوض غمار هذه الصناعةز وقد أبدع بعضهم ممن وعاها وفهمها ووقف على خصائصها ومميزاتها، وأصبحوا من الروَاد المتقدمين يقتفون أثر هذا النهج وطريقته، فجاؤوا مجلَين في هذا المضمار على طريقة الإمام وعلى سيرته وسنته. إحتوى نهج البلاغة على: علم التوحيد الإلهي: وهذا أشرف العلوم وأجلَها. تنظيم العلاقة بين المحاكم والمحكومين. كما أن نهج البلاغة معلم كبير من معالم الأخلاق والآداب. ويحتوي نهج البلاغة على وصف الدنيا وبيان حقيقتها، وقد إستطاع الإمام أن ينقلها كما هي في واقعها إلى قلوب الناس. كما ضم دراسة واضحة لمجتمع صدر الإسلام، حيث المهاجرون والأنصار، وبيان لكيفيَة انتقال الخلافة عنه إلى من تقدمه من الخلفاء.
