درس بمدينة الرياض بمدارس مختلفة حتى وصل للمرحلة الجامعية وقد درس بـ جامعة الملك سعود بكلية الأداب تخصص اللغة العربية وقد تخرج وكان من الطلاب المتفوقين بتلك الدفعة، وقد بدأ اهتمامه بالقراءة والإطلاع والكتابة منذ الصغر حيث اهتم كثيرًا بهذا الجانب وله الكثير من المشاركات والمقالات ببعض الصحف والنشرات المدرسية قبل أن يبدأ فعليًا بنشرها على مستوى أكبر من خلال الصحف والمجلات والمواقع الرسمية، عمل بوظيفة باحث قضايا بوزارة الداخلية، ثم مدرس بمدارس مختلفة بمدينة الرياض، ودخل مجالات التدريب فقدم العديد من الدورات التدريبية داخل المملكة وخارجها، ودخل مجال الإعلام المرئي، فكانت له جهود جيدة ونافعة في العديد من القنوات الرسمية وغيرها، ثم توقف به المطاف حاليا في مجال الإرشاد الطلابي.
