رواية 6 أنش للكاتب أحمد حسين الذى صدر له بعض القصص القصيرة فى عام 2011 منها ” خربش واكسب ” و ” نزيف ” درس كتابة السيناريو والحوار ثم تفرغ لكتابة رواية ” 6 أنش ” والتى استغرقت أربع سنوات متواصلة لتكتمل، وتدور أحداث الرواية حول الصحفى يوسف أصلان المهووس بعلم الجريمة فبعد سلسلة ناجحة من عموده الاسبوعى ” خيوط ودلائل ” قرر ان ينشر مقاله عن اغرب جريمة عاينها خلال تاريخه .. جريمة قتل فريدة من نوعها وصفها بـ ” الجريمة شبه الكاملة ” ليفاجأ بعدها بتغير درامى لأحداث حياته الهادئة بعدما قرأ القاتل تعليقه عنه وعن الجريمة فيقول اصلان ان إثارة قاتل متسلسل كان آخر ما أحتاجه، لقد صنعت كابوسا من العدم .. رميت حجرا فى بحر من الغضب .. أيقظت الشيطان ووقفت أمازحه .. أحيانا يكون أعمق مخاوفك هو وقت لا تجد فيه شيئا لتفعله .. النزهة الاجبارية التى يرغمك الوقت أن تحصل عليها مع عقلك، المشى بين الذكريات الشائكة والصور المؤلمة عار القدمين، تدمى قدماك الخسائر كما تدميها أكسار الزجاج ثم تحصل على وجبتك المجانية من الندم. صرح الراوئى أحمد حسين، خلال توقيع كتابه أنه اعتمد على أحداث واقعية فى بناء روايته الجديدة " 6 إنش" بالإضافة إلى بحثه فى علم الجريمة وقال عماد عدلى المستشار الثقافى أنه خلص بفكرة عن الرواية بأنها ستنتج إما أديبا مشهورا، أو مجرما محترفا. .. وصرح الكاتب أيضًا أنه وقع مع المنتج والمخرج السينمائي وائل عبدالله عقد شراء رواية "6 انش" ليتم تنفيذها في عمل درامي
