وأوضح عبد العزيز أحمد، أن رواية دم فينيسيا هى رحلة من الإسكندرية إلى فينيسيا، رحلة من الحب إلى الموت، رحلة شاقة لبطل قرر لمعرفة حقيقة الموت، أن يخسر كل من حوله، أستطيع القول أنها رواية تنتمي لنوعية روايات الفانتازيا والتشويق بها الكثير العلاقات الإنسانية التي نقابلها في حياتنا اليومية.
