نبذة عن الكتاب: "إن الأرض كلها أرض الرب، وأينما عشت حياةً طيبةً نافعة تحت أنظاره كانت تلك البقعة وطنك."نُشرت رواية عائلة روبنسن السويسرية أول مرة باللغة الألمانية عام 1813، وترجمت إلى لغات عديدة منذ ذلك الوقت، واقتبست عنها أفلام ومسلسل أنمي ياباني من إنتاج استديو نيبون إنيميشن عام 1981، عرف في أرجاء الوطن العربي باسم فلونة روبنسن كروزو. بُنيت القصة على تقرير لقبطان سفينة روسية اكتشف في إحدى رحلاته البحرية عددًا من الجزر الخصيبة، وعند نزول البحارة على إحدى هذه الجزر وجدوا عائلة من أب وأم وأربعة أولاد، تحطمت سفينتهم ولم ينج منها أحد سواهم، فاتخذوا من الجزيرة موطنًا لهم. ماذا يفعل المرء إن ألقى به البحر إلى جزيرة لم يسكنها بشر قبله؟ وما الذي سيعتمل في صدره سوى الوحشة والكآبة والخوف؟ غير أنه سيدرك سريعًا أن عليه الاعتناء بنفسه، والحرص على ما يتوفر عنده من موارد. بل إنه يسعى إلى إعمار الأرض، بشكل أو بآخر، الأرض التي أنقذته.لسنا بحاجة أن يلقي بنا البحر إلى جزيرة مقفرة لنعمر الأرض، لكننا نحتاج إلى إعمار القلوب، قبل الأرض، بالحب والرأفة والحنان، "فالأرض الخضراء لا تغدو خضراء إلا بعزم الإنسان".
