هو إحدى الدرر الثمينة لشيخ عموم المقارئ المصرية، العلامة علي محمد الضباع، رحمه الله تعالى. وهو كتاب كبير الشأن، عظيم المنزلة، جمع في ثناياه علومًا غزيرة، وهو بحق كتاب جامع لأحكام التجويد برواية حفص عن عاصم؛ فقد اشتمل على أصول تلك الأحكام، وأوردها المؤلف رحمه الله بشكل موجز مركز، فيه الغُنية والكفاية، بعيدًا عن الحشو والإطالة. وقد رتبت أبوابه وفصوله ترتيبًا بديعًا، روعي فيه موافقة الترتيب المتَّبع في أصول كتب القراءات؛ كالتيسير والشاطبية، وغيرهما، مع ذكر ما يقرأ به حفصٌ عن عاصم في كل باب من تلك الأبواب. وبعد ذلك استعراض ما يقرأ به حفصٌ في فرش الحروف كلمةً كلمةً. ودار السلام للنشر والتوزيع إذ تخرج هذا الكتاب في هذه الحُلَّة الجديدةِ، المتضمنة تحقيقًا علميًّا دقيقًا، يليق بقَدْره ومنزلته، تدعو كلَّ قارئٍ حريصٍ على أخذ التجويد من مصادره الأصيلة إلى الإفادة من الكنوز الثمينة التي اشتمل عليها هذا الكتاب.
