إن أشرف الأعمال قاطبة هي خدمة كتاب الله عز وجل ، وفي صدارة هذه الخدمة القيام على ضبط كلمات القرآن، ولقد قام المسلمون بخدمة كتاب الله خير قيام، وبذلوا في سبيل ذلك الغالي والنفيس ابتغاءَ وجهه سبحانه، فإذا كان التعبد بفهم معاني القرآن يُثاب العبد عليه، فإن التعبد بضبط ألفاظه على الجادة، وإقامة حروفه وَفق ما نقله لنا أئمة القراء بسندهم المتصل إلى النبي ? عن جبريل عن ربِّ العزة، يُعد من أَجلِّ القربات. ولقد عدَّ العلماء الإخلال بضبط حروف القرآن من باب اللحن الذي لا ينبغي لقارئ كتاب الله عز وجل أن يكون جاهلًا به. ولعل كتابنا " النكت الحسان في ضبط وتجويد آي القرآن " من الكتب التي تجمع بين علمين جليلي القدر: علم الضبط وعلم التجويد؛ إذ يُوقف القارئ على معرفة أحكام التجويد عن طريق علامات الضبط بأيسر عبارة وألطف إشارة.
