فقد ألقى الضوء على وسائل التطبّب السائدة في هذه المنطقة، وكذلك على المتطببين رجالاً ونساء، وقد هالني رؤية هذه الأعداد الكبيرة من المتطببين من الجنسين، الذين يستحقون التكريم بإبراز سيرتهم الزكيَّة التي تمثل نموذجاً لحال مناطق أخرى في المملكة.
ويتجلّى وفاء المؤلف لمن مارس هذه المهنة الإنسانية في حرصه على تتبّع سير هذه الأعداد الغفيرة منهم رجالاً ونساءً، والحرص على إستيفائها ما أمكنه ذلك، وبخاصة أمام شحّ، أو عدم وجود المصادر.
ولا يغيب عن نظر القارئ الكريم تساوي الأعداد بين الجنسين مما يدل على أن المرأة كانت تقوم بدورها خير قيام في هذا المجال الحيوي، بل وكانت ندّاً قوياً لأخيها الرجل.
