وقبل أن يصل إلى قهوة ناصر المواجهة لـ “البازان”، ومن وسط الظلام ومن بين ظلال الإتريك المعلق في ركن الشارع، لمح ظلًّا يخرج راكضًا من زقاق العطار ويدخل إلى زقاق الهنود. كانت لمحة سريعة جدًّا، ولكن “كاجو” كان متأكدًا أنه رأى رجلًا نصفه الأعلى عارٍ بينما ارتدى سروالًا أبيضًا طويلًا انسدل إلى ما تحت الركبة بقليل، وكان حافي القدمين.لم يتمكن كاجو من النظر إلى وجه الرجل، بسبب اندفاعه المفاجئ وسرعته، ولكنه كان أبيض البشرة، طويل القامة، حليق الرأس تمامًا كان هذا كل ما تمكن كاجو من ملاحظته عن الطيف الذي سيشغل تفكيره ويضغط على أعصابه.
توقف للحظات يسترجع في ذاكرته ما رآه، ما الذي يمكن أن يدفع برجل إلى الركض بهذه السرعة وهو نصف عارٍ، وبعد العشاء؟
لماذا كان حريصًا على أن لا يراه أحد؟
