ونظراً للمكانة العلمية والشخصية التي يحظى بها الأستاذ الدكتور عبد العزيز بن صالح الهلابي، فقد تمت الإستجابة لطلب هيئة تحرير الكتاب من قبل من رأت فيهم هذه الهيئة من زملائه إمكانية إسهامهم، حتى كانت الإستجابة - أقل ما يقال عنها - غامرة، هذا ولم تقتصر الإستجابة على زملائه في القسم، وبعضهم من تلاميذه، بل كانت من زملاء من الأقسام الأخرى في الكلية.
