هذا كتاب مؤسِّس، لأنه يحتوي بين دفَّيته مجموعة من النصوص تعالج موضوعًا شَغَل النقّاد والمفكرين منذ أن صاغت له “جوليا كريستيفا” مصطلحًا حمل تحته كثيرًا ممّا أطلق عليه من قبل “باختين” مُصلِح “الحوارية”. وما أن صاغت مصطلح التناصية «intertextualité» حتى سارع النقّاد والسيميائيون والمهتمون بالقراءة والتلقي إلى استخدامه وتطويره وتفصيل مداخله ومخارجه. فكان ما كتبه “رولان بارت” وما كتبه “جيرار جينيت” اللذين نجد نصوصهما مترجمة في هذا الكتاب. ولعلَّ منطلق هذا التطوير كان في مقالة “بارت” “نظرية النص” وكتابه “لذّة النص”، ومقالة “من العمل إلى النص” ومصطلح “النص” كما يُقال: “... سلاحٌ في وجه الزمن والنسيان، في وجه براعات القوَّال التي تستدرك، وتخلط، وتتنكر بسهولة تامة”.
ولكن هل تظلّ المفاهيم والأفكار ثابتة أم تتعدَّد بتغيير الأزمنة؟
يتصدى هذا الكتاب أيضًا لعرض مفاهيم معرفية جديدة يمكن أن يتتبّعها القارئ منذ ولادتها عند مَن ذكرناهم من الأعلام، ناهيك عن “السيميائية” و“القراءة” ممّا كان له أثر غير منكر في تطوُّر النظرية النقدية الحديثة عن الغربيين والعرب على حدٍّ سواء.
