إنَّ التداوليّة اليوم تأخذُ كينونتَها من حالةِ التطوّر السريع في تشكيل مفهومها ومدّ آفاقه، لهذا جاءت أبحاثُ هذا الكتاب الجماعيّ تعبيراً عن ظلال المفهوم المعاصر التداوليّةِ في تشكيل الرؤى والمنطلقات، وإمتداداً نحو آفاق تلك الظلال في المُمارسة والتطبيق.
من هنا، نسعد في هذا الكتاب بتقديم التداوليّة الحقيقيّة التي لا تنتمي إلى شخصٍ أو مذهبٍ أو إتجاه، بل تنتمي إلى الرغبة في تفسير الظاهرة اللغويّة تفسيراً علميّاً يُراعي كَينونتها الحقيقيّة في الإستعمال الحيّ الناجز بين أبنائها، او يستدعي مقامّها القديم الموروث في حكاية حالٍ ماضية يجتهد علماء المعاني والأصول في تأطيرها وتفسيرها بآليات معرفيّة ومنهجيّة وعلميّة.
تتقاطع أو تتوازى مع الرؤى المعاصرة؛ لأنَّ الباحث اللغويّ - منذ وُجِد - لم يهملْ صفة الحاضريّة الإجتماعيّة إهمالاً تاماً في دراسته للظاهرة اللغويّة في تشكّلها التعبيريّ.
وفكرةُ الكتاب الجماعيّ ليستْ متداولةً كثيراً في أعمال المشتغلين باللغة العربيّة، لكنَّها فكرة علميّة متقدِّمة متطوّرة، تقوم على مبدأ جمع خلاصة التجربة البحثيّة المعمّقة لدى كلّ باحثٍ في مجرى علميٍّ واحد، تتضحُ فيه الصورةُ العلميّة بأوضحٍ معالمها تنظيراً وتطبيقاً حدٍّ التكامل الذي لا يُلغي الآخر، بل يتحدُ معه أو يمشي بإزائه بإحترام لرؤيته.
