Book Description
يضيء الكاتب "حمد بن عبد المحسن الحمد" من الكويت في كتابه "الكويت والزلفي هجرات وعلاقات وأسر" على تاريخ دولة الكويت منذ النشأة في القرن السابع عشر، حيث توافدت مجموعة من الأسر والقبائل قادمة من نجد وأنشأت مدينة الكويت، ويعرض الكاتب لتاريخها ولرجالاتها الكبار وكل من ساهم في بناء الدولة وحضارتها منذ نشأتها إلى يومنا هذا.
وأجمل ما نقل لنا هو قول حاكم الكويت الشيخ صباح الثاني المتوفى عام 1866م نقلاً عن والده الشيخ جابر بن صباح قائلاً: "حينما بلغ والدي مائة وعشرين عاماً من عمره دعاني وقال: "سوف أموت قريباً وأنا لم أجمع ثروة، ولهذا لن أترك لك مالاً، ولكنني كوّنت العديد من الأصدقاء المخلصين، فاحرص عليهم واعلم أنه في الوقت الذي سقطت خلاله دول أخرى من الخليج بسبب فقدان العدالة أو سوء الحكم، فإن حكمي استمر، ودولتي تزايدت، فتمسك بسياستي".
هذا إن دلّ على شيء، فإنما يدل على أن في الكويت رجالات عظام، نجحوا بمقدار ما عرفوا أن السياسة الرصينة والعادلة هي التي تقوي الدول وتأتي بنتائجها الإيجابية على شعبها.
من هنا دأب الباحث حمد بن عبد المحسن الحمد في كتابه هذا على التركيز على تاريخ الكويت حيث يقول: "أرسم في كتابي هذا ملامح رجال عبروا الصحارى لأجل مستقبل أفضل في ظروف صعبة لم يُغفلها الرواة ولا المدونات التاريخية، وبالتأكيد لا نعرض هنا لعلاقات بين دول وكيانات سياسية، إنما نسلط الأضواء على علاقات إنسانية بين مدينة الزلفي، القابعة في وسط نجد، وبين الكويت المطلة على البحر ورمال شواطئ حارقة، شكّلت انطلاقة لأولئك الرجال نحو عوالم جديدة بحثاً عن مصادر الرزق".
كتاب ممتع، ومادة غنية لتاريخ الكويت أرضاً وشعباً، فجميل أن يتعرف كل إنسان منا على بلده وتاريخه وحضارته، بدل الهرولة نحو ثقافة الغرب وأن يتعلم الإنسان العربي من خلال قراءته لهذه الكتب أننا أصحاب حضارة وقيم لا تستطيع صنعها أكثر بلدان العالم تقدماً.
