"الطب التجانسي" هو فن من فنون الطب الحديث، عرف في السنوات الأخيرة انطلاقة سامية، وتقدماً رفيعاً، وإنه لا يزال حالياً، يتقدم ويكبر ويزداد المقدمون على دراسته عدداً ويكثر المطالبون بالمعالجة بأدويته.

وقد يدعم هذا الزعم الأسئلة التي يطرحها طبيب التجانس على مريضه والتي هي في موضوعها مختلفة عن الأسئلة التي تعود المريض سماعها عادة من طبيبه، هذا من جانب، ومن جانب آخر أنه وإذا كانت معالجة الأعراض، في الطب التقليدي، تأتي نتيجة التشخيص التصنيفي للأمراض، فإن معالجتها، بطريقة الطب التجانسي، الذي يهمل تشخيص المرض، تأخذ بعين الاعتبار طريقة فعل وانفعال المريض، وتربته المرضية، واستعداده.
بالإضافة إلى فإنه وإذا كان الدواء التقليدي مادة كيميائية لها تأثير مضاد ومبطل، ومقاديرها عالية؛ فإن الدواء التجانسي يؤثر بشكل تفاعلي بحيث أنه يثير ويُنشط فعل وانفعال الجسم الطبيعي أمام التعديات الخارجية.
في هذا الكتاب يحاول الدكتور فاعور تعريف القارئ بهذا الفن الطبي المستحدث لمعرفة مدى فعالية تشخيصاته. حيث يستعرض الدكتور "عبد الحسن فاعور" موجزاً لأهم الأدوية التي تستعمل بشكل كثير ودائم، وفي الحالات المرضية التي تعتبر أكثر شيوعاً وانتشاراً من غيرها. ويوضح كيفيات الأعراض والعلامات في اتجاه الاشتداد والتفاقم أو التخفيف والتحسن حسب الظروف والمناسبات ومراكز تأثير الدواء، والفرد الحساس لتأثيره، والأسباب التي يؤدي إلى إظهار أعراض وعلامات الدواء، كما ويبين كيفية استعمال الدواء وكيفية اختيار الترقيق حسب نوعية المرض.
