"سهرت طوال الليل والصبح قد دنا، أقلب أوراقي لأعرف من أنا، أهيم بماضِ ما رأني نسيته، ولم ألق في الماضي لنفسي مسكناً، أحدق في اللاشيء حولي.. وحيرتي، تطاوع أفكار عدواً نمسكنا، وأشعار ذي الرمة، تؤنس وحشتي، وديوان "ديك الجن" غنى ودندنا، معاون كل الناس إني خبرتها، ولم ألق لي في سائر الناس معدنا، تنادي شياطين لأروي غرائزي فأسمو بآياتي على لذة الخنا، رقصت على جرح... ولملمت أحرفاً، وناجيت أطيافاً... وأغمضت أعيناً، تعودت ليل الحزن من طول حيرتي، وتهتف أعماقي: "لوزارني سنا"، وأنظر في المرآة والشك قاتلي، وأبحث في المرآة بالليل عن "أنا" تضيق بي الدنيا... فأجتر لوعتي، ويبصر قلبي الغم! إن رق أو رنا".
"سهرت طوال الليل والصبح قد دنا/أقلب أوراقي لأعرف من أنا، أهيم بماضٍ ما أراني نسيته/ولم ألقَ في الماضي لنفسي مسكنا، أحدق في اللاشيء حولي... وحيرتي/تطاوع أفكاري عدوّاً تمسكنا، وأشعارُ "ذي الرمة" تؤنس وحشتي/وديوان "ديك الجن" غنى ودندنا، معادن كل الناس إنني خبرتها/ولم ألق لي في سائر الناس معدنا، تنادي شياطيني لأروي غرائزي/فأسمو بآياتي على لذة الخنا، رقصت على جرح.. ولملمت أحرفاً/وناجيت أطيافاً... وأغمضت أعينا، تعوّدت ليل الحزن من طول حيرتي/وتهتف أعماقي: "لو زارني سنا"، وأنظر في المرآة والشكُّ قاتلي/وأبحث في المرآة بالليل عن "أنا"!، تضيف بي الدنيا.. فأجترُّ لوعتي/ويبصرُ قلبي الغمَّ رَقَّ أو رَنا، نقشت أحاسيسي على جدار غرفتي/كنحات أصنام بخالقه اعتنى، وبحتُ بأسراري على السطر في الدجى/كمجنون "ليلى" في هواها تفننا، فزالت هموم الليل.. واشتدّ ساعدي../فأنفي مرفوعٌ... وظهري ما انحنى...".
ديوان شعري، فلسفي، تأملي، يتحدث عن تكوين الإنسان، من حيث هو جسد.. وروح، وكيفية التجاذب والتنافر، والانسجام والخسام، مروراً بكل أعراض الشك واليقين والحيرة، واليأس. والأمل في النهاية بإنسان يحاول أن يرقى…
