"وَحدَهُنَّ الفَواطِمُ يملِكْنَ عنْفوان البُكاء مَهوى أدْمُعِتهنَّ المُزن في جِيوبهنَّ أضغاثُ أفراح رَمادُ جُلّنار وحفْنَةُ هَباء.." جملة شعرية تتصدر عتبة الإهداء ترسلها الشاعرة فاطمة نعيمي إلى فاطمات/ بنات جنسها، ومنها تبدأ بالولوج إلى عالمهن الداخلي، وربما البوح بمشاعرهن بالنيابة عنهن، هي أشياء الأنثى التي استثمرتها الشاعرة في سردها الشعري، بصور متنوعة، ومعانٍ مختلفة، جديدة شفيفة، ذات أبعاد دلالية مفتوحة. تحت عنوان "غرس للنسيان" تقول الشاعرة: "خارجَ جنائنِ الحكايا التي توارتْ عنكِ/ تستنزفينَ الحزنَ من جنبات الروح/ لم تعودي تذكرينَ كم اختلجتْ عظامكِ برداً/ وكم.. في شهقةِ الطينِ تبلورتْ آهة/ ودستِ الغصة في أروقةِ الصمت/ دسَّ درهمٍ في كفِّ سائل/ اقترفتِ كل هذا تبجيلاً لغَرس النسيان!/ مع هذا../ ما أشبهَ اليومَ بالأمسِ/ ها أنتِ تُغمضينَ وبقيَ الجرحُ مفتوحاً!". في هذه المجموعة تعتني الشاعرة بالصور الشعرية، اعتناءاً استثنائياً وسيلتها المقاربة الحسية بين المعنى وما يؤول إليه وبنصوص نثرية تشفر محمولاتها عنفوان المفردة وقوة الإيحاء وفاعلية اللغة. وكما يقول أدونيس: "على الشاعر أن يحف باللغة ويفجرها كي يسبر أغوار المجهول فيها". يضم الكتاب خمسون قصيدة نثرية جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "عتبة الحكايا"، "كسروية"، "تمائم وجد"، "عروج"، "خرائط الذاكرة"، "حارس الشمس"، "أحّاه"، "غابة"، "شفرة الحزن"، "منتصف الذاكرة"، "عشق الجياد"، "مقايضة"، "ركلات الحزن"، "تأريخ حلم"، "آهة مُضرمة"، "حزن بَض"، "غواية عاصفة"، (...) وقصائد أخرى.
