لا شك أن فضاء الشعر هو فضاء نوعيّ وخاصّ جداً، يسمح بإقامة مملكة كبرى للشاعر وأخرى مناظرة لها للقارئ، ونداء الشاعرة سهلة آل سعد في «أحبّيني» نداء ذو لغة خاصة عميقة تلتحم به حروفها بشفافية عالية فتتحقق للقارئ "المتعة الشعرية" التي تعد من أهم أسرار التكون الشعري والسير باتجاه صنع نصاً مغامراً ينطوي على جماليات لا حصر لها. في هذه المجموعة استطاعت الشاعرة آل سعد أن تنجز قراءة حرّة بالحواس كلها، فيها إلى جانب التأمل والإحساس العميق بالبشر؛ فيها أيضاً من الطرافة والحيوية والرحابة الشيء الكثير ففي النص المعنون بـ «تهويمات» أو "تهويمات طفلة في وقت ضحى" تقول الشاعرة: "نافذة تُطل من جدار/ مروحة.. ونار/ وضحكة يأتي بها النهار/ هناك حيث امرأة منكبة/ تعانق البخار/ تهمس.. حنجرة/ تُطل من نافذة مبهمة الإطار/ همهمة تعلو مع الشمس/ تساعدُ/ في خلق نومة/ ليس لها قرار/ وتبعث الأحلام من باطن النفس/ همهمة تُثار/ وتأتي كغبار.. من باطن الأمس/ فيرقد الصغار". بهذه اللغة التي تحمل حساسية التجربة إلى النص المكتوب تنجح الشاعرة بالتقاط دهشة النص ولحظة انفعاله ورؤيته بطريقة تضرب في جذور الذاكرة/ ذاكرة الطفولة والتجربة وعيش حلمها من جديد. توزعت قصائد المجموعة في الكتاب على ثلاثة فترات زمنية لكتابتها وهي: المجموعة الأولى قصائد كُتبت في الفترة ما بين (1991-1987)، والمجموعة الثانية قصائد كُتبت في الفترة ما بين (1998-1994)، والمجموعة الثالثة كُتبت في الفترة من (2013-2011).
