عبر تقنيات السرد النثري تأتي لفظة (الشغف) هنا لتمثّل جمرة التجربة الشعورية/ العاطفية التي تعانيها الذات/ الشاعرة في الكتابة والتي وجدت في لوعة هذه التجربة العاطفية ظلالاً دلالية عديدة، حيث تتناسل من هذه اللفظة معاني الشوق والبوح والشكوى الصادرة عن امرأة عاشقة لا ترى نفسها إلّا من خلال التوحّد مع الآخر.تحت عنوان «تصْليك عشقاً» تقول الشاعرة سناء حميده:"نسمات وهمسات ودوخات/ قوة وشدة وجنون/ ما بين غمضة عينٍ وانتباهتها نبضٌ يتعرّق/ ما بين شهقة نفَسٍ وزفرتها رجوع يترنّح/ لا تريد هذا الشعور أن يذهب لثوان فتعيده مراتٍ/ ومراتٍ/ حتى تكاد أن تفقد عقلك بكل سهولة... وذلك التحديق/ الذي تليه ابتسامة/ لترى ذلك الظل من الغموض/ الجميع يشير إليها بالبنان: إنها غامضة/ ولكن هي تقرأ أفكارك تختبئ حتى تضيع أنت../ فلا تعلم من أنت أمامها/ تصْليِك عشقاً.. مع كل نبرة غامضة..!".يضم الكتاب مائة وثلاثة وسبعين نصاً نثرياً جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "اهتزّت ورَبَت"، "يأخذني تفكيري بعيداً"، "زرقة سماء وسماءُ بحر"، أناس سمعوا بقصة عشقنا"، "أقصى مراحل العشق"، "كلك أنت أعيادي"، "ماذا تخبئ لي يا يَوْم؟"، "تستريح يا مستراح"، "ماذا حلّ بي؟"، "رجولة حقيقية بمليون طريقة"، "تؤتي أُكلها كل حين"، "أحلى من العقد لباسه"، (...) ونصوص أخرى.
