«مفتون كأحلام المساء» قصائد درامية للشاعر محمد البلبال بوغنيم يستدعي عبرها ذاكرته البعيدة ويضعها قبالة واقع مأساوي معاش؛ ليقوم من خلال هذه المواجهة الشعرية باستنطاق تجربته الشعرية القائمة على احساسات الاغتراب والضياع، يتمظهر هذا عبر وظيفة مرآتية تجسدت داخل كل قصيدة بصور شعرية دالة جاءت لتعبر عن أزمة الحاضر وانعكاس كل ذلك على نمط العلاقة بين ذات الشاعر والعالم الخرب الدائر من حوله
في القصيدة المعنونة بـ [الحرب] يقول الشاعر:
"لن أسافر إلى معلم/ لا يعرف من يافا/ وغرنيكا/ وغزة/ وبغداد/ ومبنى التجارة/ والقاهرة/ وتونس،/ سوى جغرافيتهم الآثمة/ وقبورهم الجاثمة،/ سأهدي سوسنة لطفلة نظرت وجه الشمس/ فابتسمت،/ والمتاريس تعانق/ أفئدة بلابل النيل،/ طفلة قالت:/ وداعاً أمي/ وداعاً أبي/ وداعاً إخوتي/ فأدارت وجهها صوب الفيافي وريح الشرق/ علها تداوي جراح/ القوافل الراسيات،/ قبالة موجها الصغير".
