الفرطة الإيمانية فطرة الإنسان التي فطر عليها، وهي مدعاة الشعور بالاطمئنان الذي هو حاجة نفسية، فالنفس تطمئن وتحس بالانشراح حينما تشعر بأنها أفلحت في مصافاة ذاتها وانسجم فعلها مع شفافية كينونتها فيداخلها الرضا، إذ تستشعر مواءمة سلوكها مع ما يرضي خالقها تعالى، وإن الخيبة إحساس بالإحباط الذي يرين على النفس عندما تشتاط في سلوكها، لذا يلازمها الاكتئاب بنوعيه الخفيف والحاد، والاكتئاب مرض نفسي يلازم النفس حينما تجترح الذنوب أو عندما تشتد عليها الخطوب، والإنسان رهين أهوائه التي تخل توازنه، وتسحب منه الشعور بالاطمئنان ويبقى الإيمان بالله نافذة أمان لإيجاد التوازن في الأهواء النفسية التي هي منشأ لكثير من الاضطرابات النفسية، ويبقى القرآن ملاذ الإنسان في كل زمان ومكان للاسترشاد بآياته التي تضئ للنفوس ما إمض عليها لتعيد إليها طمأنينتها التي بها تعش. يحاول عبد العلي الجسماني متابعة نداء الفطرة الإيماني من خلال الآيات التي تحمل في مراميها ما يخفف الوطأة عن الإنسان والتخلص من كل ما يثقل كاهله في هذه الحياة.
