«ما بعد الغيبوبة» هي نزف أدبي خيالي، هي شذرات وأفكار تعدَّت أسوار الواقع لتهبط بتؤدة على صفحات هذا الأبيض الناصع لتلونه بألوان أكثر تفاؤلاً، بل لنقل أكثر شاعرية."الغيبوبة" كما يعرف القراء عموماً والأطباء خصوصاً قد تستمر لوقت محدد لا يتجاوز السنة، هذا في الواقع؛ أما في عالم الأدب والخيال كما يحلو لنا دائماً أن نخلق ونتحدى ونواجه الواقع بأفق لا حدود له سوى حدود مخيلة كاتب السطور، فقد اخترت أن تستمر الغيبوبة إحدى وثلاثين سنة. قد يتساءل بعضهم لِمَ؟ فيكون الجواب إنّ الأدب يُحل لنا ما لا يُحلّه الواقع ومعاييره الشديدة الدقة. لنا في الواقع حياة واحدة وواقع واحد، ولنا في الخيال حيوات وقفزات فوق أسوار المستحيل لنعانق شغف الكلمات والأمنيات بعفوية لا حدود لها، ولهذا كانت العقود الثلاثة هي اختياري".ومن هنا، فإن تسمية "صفا ناشر" روايتها بـ «ما بعد الغيبوبة» يعتبر اسماً على مسمى حيث تغيب الشخصية الروائية على أثر حادث سيارة لتترك في غيبوبة لمدة تزيد عن ثلاثة عقود تستفيق بعدها؛ لتواجه واقعاً أشد إيلاماً من الموت نفسه.كانت تلك اللحظة التي قال عنها بطل الرواية "إبراهيم" أول لحظات بؤسه. بل إنها اللحظة ذاتها التي سلبت منّه واحداً وثلاثين عاماً من عمره، هي اللحظة ذاتها التي نقلتهُ من رجلٍ في مقتبل العمر وزوج تحبه زوجته بجنون وأبٍ يكاد يطير فرحاً بابنه الأول المولود حديثاً؛ إلى رجل في الستين من عمره، أرمل وحيد لا يعرف ابنه، وجدٌّ متطفل ظهر في حياة حفيده فجأة.
