ربما ليس كثيراً، لكن في أي حال أكثر مما بدأت (إيجا) تستخدم هذا المصطلح لتؤهِّل كلماتها، الكلمات التي كتبتها مراراً وتكراراً على الآلة التي أهدتها إياها جّدّتها في ذكرى ولادتها منذ بضع سنوات...
كل تلك الكلمات ستكون بمثابة نقطة الاستقطاب الدلالي لمجمل النص الروائي الذي حلمت (إيجا) بطلة رواية «اقلبي الصفحة» بتأليفه، وليشكل بالنسبة للروائية أودور جونسدوتير رؤية لمستوى العمل بكامله، يجد طريقه إلى ذهن المتلقي المتعامل مع نص داخل نص عبر مستويات دالة متعددة.. تجعل الراوي لا يتساوى مع باقي مكونات النص السردي، وهو الصوت الذي يختبئ خلفه الكاتب، والكاتب هنا امرأة نشطة قررت أن تبدأ حياتها الجديدة ككاتبة، كامرأة لا تبرّر لنفسها أو تعتذر، حتى عندما تبدأ يومها بالكتابة... هذه الحال التي هي عليها (إيجا) وصلت إليها بعدما استيقظت في صباح أحد الأيام تعيد شريط حياتها في قريتها الآيسلندية في عالمها المثالي: كانت هناك أحصنة وكلاب، وأولاد أوفياء، وجَدّة تهتم بكل شيء، وأب بنى منزلاً وجهزّ حديقة للعائلة كلها، وأم تبتسم فخورة، وأخ صغير وظريف. كان هذا في الماضي قبل تنتقل وأختها إلى ريكيافيك للعيش مع الجدة وزواجها من رجل ثمل أكبر منها بعشرين سنة، إذ كان هذا الأخير يسمم حياته اليومية، ورغم ذلك لم تنجح (إيجا) في فصل نفسها عنه. لكن جَدّتها العازمة على أت تغيّر لها حياتها، أعطتها بداية جديدة وأرسلتها لتنضم إلى ابنة عمها، (رونا) الجريئة، في السويد. لقد حان الوقت لكي تقلب الشابة الصفحة. هل ستنجح هناك في كتابة الرواية التي كانت تفكر فيها منذ سنوات؟
هذا النص الحديث والذكي حول إعادة بناء الذات، والمقدَّم بأسلوب حيّ وغير مزخرف، يثير أيضاً مسألة الإبداع الأدبي من جديد...
