باب الهجرة واللجوء هو الباب الأخير الذي يلجه كل من ضاقت به أرض وطنّه بما رحبت، وهو الباب الذي يلجه الروائي إبراهيم إدريس في «4 سيلسيوس أو ما شابه» ليسرد للقارئ "رواية ذات أحداث حقيقية"؛ فمن دمشق إلى لارنكا.. إلى الجزائر.. إلى ليبيا.. وصولاً إلى أوروبا.. ترسم الرواية مدارات اغتراب مميزة في اختياراتها السردية، وفي بحثها الدائب عن تنويعات صورية متغايرة لقيم الخروج والسفر عبر "الأمكنة"، حيث مفارقة الوطن، والارتحال بالشخصية الروائية للبحث عن الـ "البديل" و"المغاير" في عوالم الآخر المختلف. وتفعل ذلك الرواية عبر تفصيلات حسية ومعنوية ذات نفس ملحمي تسبر ذاكرة بطلها "عيسى" معلم المدرسة وهو يروي يوماً مغايراً لسفر مغاير، سفر يمتاز باحتمالية اللاعودة، واللاعودة إلى أين! إلى أرض الوطن. يمضي "عيسى" في رحلته تاركاً خلفه، أمه.. أباه.. إخوته.. زوجته وأبناؤه.. على أمل اللقاء خارج حدود الوطن في حياة حرة كريمة.. حياة كان لا بد له من "عبورها" في خزان درجة حرارته "أربعة سليسيوس، أو ما شابه!". ما يُذكّر برواية الأديب الفلسطيني الشهير "غسان كنفاني"، المعنونة "رجال في الشمس" وتساؤل الرواية في نهايتها: "لماذا لم يدقّوا جدران الخزان!". تماماً مثل بطل روايتنا الذي كاد ومن معه أن يكونوا مشروع جثة عندما دقوا جدران الشاحنة دون جدوى. فالأمر سيّان، هي رحلة عبور وربما مخاض ما قبل النهايات الأخيرة الذي لا بدّ منه...
من أجواء الرواية نقرأ:
في اللحظات النهائيّة – النهائيّة بحق – يتبيّن للإنسان أن قيمة ذكرياته لا تقاس لا بالنوع ولا بالكمّ، بل تقاس بمجرد حدوثها فقط. ألا إنّ للوداع نكهة وخيمة كنكهة الموت وربما أكثر، أصابتني غصّة، كغصّة موت ربما، تذكرت مريم، مريم صغيرتي التي تحب القطط. لم أمت، شعرت أنني كقطة من التي تحبها مريم، قطة بسبعة أرواح استنفذت للتوّ الروح الأولى من أرواحها السبعة، وانطلقت الحافلة".
