«الحب على قدم واحدة» نصوص تجمع بين قواسم مشتركة هي (التكثيف، الإيجاز، الشاعرية)، فعلى هذا الأساس المتين يبني مفرج المجفل عالمه الشعري، ويختار كلماته بدقة بالغة وفهم حاذق، وهذا ما نجد له أكثر من تجلٍ في صياغة عناوين المجموعة، وهي عناوين لا تخلو من أبعاد شاعرية، وأمثلة ذلك: "ما تبقى من ملامح"، "أعين العابرين بلا أرصفة"، "فراغ يملأ كل الأشياء"، "مشاعر طارئة"، "للحب علامات فارقة" وغيرها. أما طبيعة الصياغة اللغوية التي تتميز بها النصوص الشعرية، فتنم عن مدى الجهد الذي يبذله المجفل في صياغة كل عبارة، وفي اختيار كل لفظة وهو يخوض غمار النفوس وينقل خباياها، وخاصة في حالة "العشق" كل ذلك يأتي في النص بنَفَسٍ شاعري وعلى صيغة المداولة بين شخصين، أو الشخصية وذاتها (المونولوغ) مما يشعرنا بأنها محاورة حيّة؛ حتى وإن كانت على الورق.
تحت عنوان "رشفة أخيرة" يقول الشاعر:
ألا تذكرين من أنا..؟ / كُنا هنا ذات يوم في موعدٍ مسروق. / كُنت أنا وكُنتِ أنتِ بداخلِ فنجانٍ مقلوب. / ألا تذكرين من أنا..؟ / أنا الذي تركتهِ في قعر الفنجان. / أنا الطالع الكذوب.
بهذا النضج الفني يكتب مفرج المجفل، ويطرح الحب كثيمة تتصدر أغلب النصوص، ويتفنن في كتابة الذات الشاعرة وعوالمها، من دون أن ينسى الاهتمام بالزخرف والبيان الجمالي وهذا من العلامات البارزة في الكتابة الشعرية الحديثة.أليس هو القائل في "قافية": أنا لا أحاول كتابة قصائد عمودية.. أنا أحاول أن أكتب قصائد مائلةً نحوك".
من عناوين النصوص نذكر: "عارياً خارج الفصول"، "أستعيذ بالله منك"، "كوز ذرة"، "قفز عميق"، "جندي مهمل"، "جزء من النص مفقود"، "أكثر من نداء"، "صوت يشبه اسمك"، "حب غلفته العناكب"، (...) وعناوين أخرى.
