«هُدْنَة» وهي في حد ذاتها بوابة للبوح أرادتها الكاتبة خاتون الفرج - حسب وظيفة العتبة - مؤشراً على رؤيتها الخاصة للذات الأنثوية في حال تمردها حيناً وسكونها حيناً أخرى، وفيما بينهما تمتمت همساً بـ «هُدْنَة»، وهذه الهُدْنَة سيلعب خلالها التذكّر دوره، فتتداعى الصور، والأصوات، والألوان، عبر أنداء النوستالجيا، إلى حاضرها، وبهذا الاشتغال الرومانسي الجميل تنقش الكاتبة/الأنثى بحروفها على ضريح العاطفة قصة كل أنثى لم يتح لها القدر اكتمال حبها، وكأن أجمل الحب ما كان غائباً، وغيابه ما هو إلا ذلك الصمت العميق الذي يطوي له العاشقين ألف حكاية ومعنى.
ونختار واحدة من هذه الصور الشاعرية، لكي نتلمس تجلياتها الجمالية، وفاعليتها، وقوتها، في النص المعنون بـ «هُدْنَة»:
"تتمرد الأيام وتُسعفها الساعات على الثواني وتضجر الأولى من ممارسة التعذيب وتُطيل الثانية وتتسارع الأخيرة مُعاندة ويتحول الجميع لظالمين؛ ظالمين حين لا عزاء إلا هُم، وحين لا شكل للألم إلا قربهم.. ظالمين حين يتكوّر الألم ويُدّس في الحنايا، وحين تهب الليالي وحدةً، وحين يصهلُ التمنّي بآخر الأمنيات، وحين تهتفُ شِفاه أنثى: "اصنعني من جديد واتخذني طفلةً لا تسكن إلا في أحضان أمانك، أنثى لم تتعلم بعد كيف تقف، ولم يهمها فعلاً أن تقف إلا لتكون أجمل، أقوى وأكمل بك..
ماذا لو عقدت هُدنة مع الأيام؟".
