إيكيغاي هي كلمة يابانية تصف المباهج ومعنى الحياة. تتألف الكلمة من مقطعين "إيكي" (أن تعيش) و"غاي" (سبب). وتمثّل الإيكيغاي حكمة اليابانيين في الحياة والرقة والأخلاق والأفعال المتأصّلة في المجتمع الياباني، والتي تطورت عبر مئات السنين في مجتمع الأمة.
