«معجم الهادي في الأضداد» لمؤلفته جولي المراد يأتي مُكمِّلاً لـِ «معجم الهادي في المترادفات والمتجانسات» الذي غدا أداةً أَثْرت مداركَ المثقّف والطالب اللُّغويّة.إن الضِّدَّ في العلوم اللُّغويّة مفردةٌ واحدةٌ تدلُّ على معنيَيْن مُتقابلَيْن كالمولى للسَّيِّد والعبد، الجليل للعظيم واليسير، البَيْن للفُراقِ والوَصْل، (...)، وقد تناول موضوعَ الأضداد لُغويّونَ كثرٌ من الأقدمين، أشهرهم أبو بكر محمد بن القاسم الأنباري في "كتاب الأضداد" بعد اطِّلاعه على مؤلّفات من سبقَهُ، وأضافَ إليها شواهدَ عديدة من القرآن الكريم والحديث الشّريف وأشعار السَّلَف.أما المعنى الآخر للأضداد الذي يدور حوله هذا المعجم، فهو يكمن في كلمِتَيْن تدلّان على معنيَيْن مُتعاكسيْن كالخير والشرّ، الفرح والحزن، الطويل والقصير، القوّة والضعف، السّلبيّ والإيجابيّ وما شابَهها.لهذا المُعجم ميزتان إضافيتان قد لا تتوافرانِ في سائر المعاجمِ التي تتناولُ الموضوعَ عينَهُ، وهما تُسهِّلانِ للباحثِ والطالبِ أمرَ استعمالهِ للضِّدِّ في المعنى الذي يريدُه، ودعمهِ بمثالٍ لُغويِّ يُمتِّنُ نصِّه. والميزةُ الأولى هي تنسيقِ هذه الأضدادِ حسبَ المعاني التي يحملُها المدخل الأساسُ، فإذا بحثنا مثلاً عن ضدِّ كلمة "أَبْرأ" نجد أنّ لها معنَييْنِ، الأوّل هو "شَفَى" وضدّه: أعَلَّ، أَمرضَ، أسقمَ؛ والثاني هو "بَرَّرَ" وضدّه: أَذْنَب، أَّدانَ، اِتهمَ، ويفصلُ بينَ هذَيْنِ المعنيَيْن خطٌ مائلٌ. أما الميزةُ الثانية فتكمنُ في الملاحقِ الأربعة التي أُدرجتْ في خاتمة المُعجم، وهي: 1- جمل تحمل ضدين، 2- جُملٌ مضادةٌ بالمقابلة، 3- أبياتٌ شعريةٌ تحمل ضدَّيْن، 4- أقوالٌ نثريةٌ تحملُ ضِدَّين.
