لم تتحرك الريح قبل ذلك، لقد كان الهدوء الذي يطبق عليّ أنا وأمي محفزاً كبيراً لعاصفة هوجاء قادمة تدمر كل شيء بأمر ربها، علامات الذهول ارتسمت على وجوه أهل القرية، لم يشهدوا بشعاً من قبل إلى هذا الحد، الورثة –كل الورثة- كانوا على موعد مع بيع البيت، اجتمعوا في موقف يشبه التشفي، بل هو التشفي والانتقام.
