في جديده الشعري "إعلان نضوج" بدا الشاعر اللبناني "علي ملحم" وكأنه يقتنص اللحظات العابرة أو المشاهد السريعة فيستعين بالشعر لتبيتها وتخليدها ولا سيما أنها تصور حالات الذات وانشغالاتها التنوعة في الحياة، وكل ما تحمله من معانٍ، وذكريات عن (الزوجة/ الحبيبة) و(الوطن الأم/ لبنان) من هنا بدء كتابه بـ "إهداء" شعري إلى "...كل من عشق امرأة وقدرها/ إلى كل من عشق الحرية ومجَدها/ إلى كل من عشق الأرض وبجسده زادها/ إلى كل العشاق والأحرار وثوار الأرض/ إلى زوجتي التي هي امرأتي الوحيدة في/ كل قصائدي مهما تعددت الأسماء (...)".
والشعر عند ملحم ليس نوعاً من المزاوجة بين التنظير والابداع، بل جاءت القصائد مكابدة حقيقية تختصر فلسفتها في العبارة التي اختارها عنواناً لمجموعته "إعلان نضوج" والتي تعبَر عن رغبة الشاعر وتصوره لما يحب أن يكون...
يضم الكتاب ما يقارب الثلاثون قصيدة في الشعر العربي الحديث نذكر من عناوينها: "إعلام نضوج"، "ألقوا القبض على عيوني"، "الشمس والريح"، "اقطع فيك دروب"، "دعوني"، "أيامي"... الخ.
