هي أحسن القصص، سماها (جل جلاله) في كتابه الكريم (القرآن الكريم) ولم يعرف المسلمون سورة أخرى لها ذات التسمية ولا أية قصة أخرى مشابهة في محكم التنزيل.
عن سيرة سيدنا يوسف عليه السلام يحدثنا (عبد العزيز القباني) في كتابه الموسوم بـ «يوسف - عليه الصلاة والسلام - القصة الكاملة» بقراءة مفصلة وتحليل موضوعي لسيرة هذا النبي الكريم.
وعن منهجه في هذا العمل/السيرة يقول مؤلف الكتاب: اعتمدت المصدر الرئيسي القرآن الكريم وما صح من السنَّة النبوية المطهرة، وعلقت في بعض الجوانب على ما ذكرته كتب الأمم الأخرى التي ينقصها التدقيق في كثير من الأمور حيث إنها تعرض لعوامل الفقد والتحريف والتبديل، كما اجتنبت في الكتاب نقل المؤرخين والعلماء الذي لا يوافق صريح الآيات وخالف السنَّة المطهرة وابتعد عن المنطق، (...) ورأيت أن أختم الكتاب بسؤال مهم يدور كثيراً في أذهان كثير من الناس، أين نجد سيرة يوسف عليه السلام في الآثار المصرية؟
هذا السؤال وأسئلة أخرى تشكل مفتاحاً للبحث في آفاق واسعة يثيرها عبد العزيز القباني في دعوة منه "لعلماء الآثار والتاريخ والمهتمين بإعادة النظر في دراسة ماضينا".
وبهذا، يكون القباني قد افتتح باكورة سلسلة (كتاب الأنبياء) التي يعمل على إصدارها، يذكر فيها جوانب عديدة حول الأنبياء... من غير مخالفة للنص ولا للعقل ولا النقل، بجهد ملحوظ في استخراج الصحيح من المشكوك فيه، في يقين تام بأن الله جل جلاله هو الإله الواحد الأحد وهو باعث الأنبياء والرسل جميعاً.
