تشارلز ويليام ويلسون تشارلز ويليام ويلسون (مارس 14 1836-1825 October 1905) KCB ، KCMG ، FRS ، DCL ، دكتوراه في القانون ، وكان لي ضابط عسكري بريطاني وجغرافي .
سيرة [عدل ] وقد ولد في ليفربول في 14 آذار 1836.
تلقى تعليمه في ليفربول جماعية معهد و كلية شلتنهام .
وقال انه حضر الأكاديمية العسكرية الملكية ، ويتش ، وانتدب كضابط في المهندسين الملكي في عام 1855 .
[ 1 ] في عام 1864 كان يعمل في هيئة المساحة في القدس حيث اكتشف آرتش مسمى ويلسون .
[ 1 ] تم تعيينه ل هيئة المساحة في اسكتلندا في عام 1867 .
[ 1 ] في عام 1867 انضم إلى صندوق استكشاف فلسطين.
في عام 1868 التحق هيئة المساحة في سيناء.
في عام 1872 انتخب لجمعية الآثار البريطانية.
في عام 1874 أصبح زميلا في الجمعية الملكية .
[ 1 ] أصبح مديرا لقسم الطوبوغرافية في مكتب الحرب البريطاني و مساعد التموين العام في دائرة المخابرات البريطانية.
في عام 1876 حصل على وسام حمام .
ثم ترأس هيئة المساحة في أيرلندا.
[ 1 ] من 1879-1882 ، وكان القنصل العام في الأناضول .
في صيف عام 1882، شارك في الحملة العقيق WOLSELEY ل اخماد تمرد العقيد العربي .
[ 1 ] من 1884-1885 ، استغرق ويلسون شارك في إغاثة إكسبيديشن الخرطوم ، بقيادة العقيق WOLSELEY .
وقال انه كان جزءا من قوة الانقاذ مسبقا بقيادة السير هربرت ستيوارت.
استغرق ويلسون بعد ستيوارت كان اصيب بجروح قاتلة قيادة هذه المجموعة من حوالي 1،400 الرجال.
على توصلا العمود النيل البواخر ويلسون الصحراء الخرطوم بعد ظهر يوم 28 يناير 1885 .
جاء يومين بعد فوات الأوان : وكانت الخرطوم قد استولت عليها قوات المهدي في الساعات الأولى من يوم 26 يناير .
بين 5000 و 10.000 ذبحت نسمة، بينهم اللواء تشارلز جورج غوردون.
تم تعيينه مديرا ل مسح ايرلندا الذخائر و كان المدير العام 1886-1894 .
في الفترة من 1895 حتى تقاعده في عام 1898 ، شغل منصب مدير عام التربية العسكرية .
شغل منصب رئيس صندوق استكشاف فلسطين من 1901 حتى وفاته في عام 1905.
